1. Facebook Phishing Email In Circulation

If you receive an Email from Facebook Support with a Subject line that reads “Facebook Support has sent you a message” Don’t open it, as it’s a malicious Phishing Email attempt.

The short message includes a link to a bogus website and is signed, “Thanks, The Facebook Support.”

This phishing attempt comes on the heels of a recent Phishing attempt that used the IRS.gov as the sender. Although these Emails look almost right at first glance, if you investigate further by hovering over links provided in them, you’ll find the destination URL is bogus. Clicking on this bogus link can lead to a computer infection, data loss or even identity theft.
